It means that which I was seeking was also seeking me. I craved community. I craved belonging. I craved love. I craved friendship. I dreamt of creating a space that I could come home to and belong, and like a beacon, a lighthouse, I could invite others home. To this sanctuary of peace. A safe haven where I was free to be me, without judgment. A place where I could fully express myself and be received with love. A place where all of me was welcome. My darkness and my light, my intensity, my sadness and joy. After a deep healing journey, I discovered that safe place could be found within me - within my heart, the house for my soul.
